NCYF Mission Statement

NCYF's mission is to provide a safe and developmental youth football experience for the New Canaan community.  Our programs are designed to teach, and to inspire in our youth players, the values of sportsmanship, character, discipline, respect, teamwork, hard work and competitive fair play, as well as to build community and foster a love for the game, in all cases in a fun and friendly environment. 

We encourage participation from all youth players in our community (within the ages that we serve), and are dedicated to the development of all players regardless of ability. NCYF relies on the generosity and support of parents, sponsors and other donors to keep our programs affordable to all, and provides financial assistance to participants who would otherwise be excluded.

NCYF is administered by volunteers who are equally dedicated to our values. We promote "safety-first" play and coaches are required to adhere to the highest standards in handling the safety and well-being of our players, and to conduct themselves and their teams in a manner that is consistent with this Mission Statement.
