3rd Grade Introduction toTackle Football Registration

Register here if you have a TACKLE player in New Canaan who will be in 3rd grade for the fall of 2024.

Introduction to tackle football's goal is to teach an understanding of equipment, positions, formations, safety, in 2 -3 clinics a week for the season and weekend games.

Practices and clinics designed to teach both offensive and defensive fundamentals of tackle football.

2024 NCYF Tackle Football Grades 4-8th

Register here if you have a TACKLE player in New Canaan who will be in 4th grade through 8th grade for the fall of 2024.

Register for the grade your child will be in for the 2024-2025 school year. Please do not register if you live outside of New Canaan. If you believe you have a waiver, please contact the Registrar first to verify.

Important Dates:

August 31st FCFL Jamboree

September 7th Regular Season Games

Scott Overbeck w/ special guests and HS coaches and players.

This is a unique opportunity to work on football fundamentals while learning the New Canaan HS offense and defenses.

Each player will work on individual skills, understand concepts, and learn playes that will help develop their football abilities.

This clinic will also work in conjunction with our 7on7 clinic by working on 11 man football plays.

2024 Spring NCYF 7on7 Clinics (rising 6-8th)

Rising 6th – 8th Grade

Youth Football 7on7 clinics (rising 6-8 grades)

Sundays April 7, 14, 21, 28 May 5, 19, June 2nd.

6-7 pm WTT1.

New Canaan Youth Football in conjunction with High School Coaching staff, Chris Silvestri and Jimmy Nguyen, are pleased to offer the NC Football Systems and Fundamental clinics this spring.

These one hour youth clinics will be run and taught by the High School coaching staff, and will provide individual, fundamental instruction to each participant, while installing New Canaan High school’s offensive and defensive systems.

Each participant will be taught various positions, individual skills, plays, and understand language providing a base for both 7on7

The plays and skills learned will be on display at the annual 7on7 tournament which will take place in June versus other teams in the FCFL.

Cost: $200 per player. Includes the six-session clinic with occasional scrimmages, participation in FCFL tournament, and use of a soft-shell helmet (no equipment necessary).

2024 NCYF Summer Ram Camp June 17-19th

New Canaan Youth Football Ram Camp for Rising 3rd-8th Grades

The New Canaan High School football staff is proud to share with you our Annual Ram Football Camp! Head Coach Lou Marinelli and his staff are excited to share the NC football brand of up tempo offense and swarming defense. This is an opportunity for your child to get coached by the varsity coaches and players while enjoying a challenging and positive camp experience. They will receive instruction in every position on the field, and participate in games to further develop their skills as a player.

The 2024 NC Ram Football Camp will be a fun filled environment for all to enjoy – we hope to see your children there!

Dates: June 17-19th

Times: Rising 3rd-5th Grade 8:30-10:00AM

Rising 6th-8th Grade 10:00-11:30AM

Location: NCHS

Cost: $200

No equipment is needed for this camp. Wear cleats and bring a well labeled water bottle.
